To MARS with MER - MARS the Planet

MARS the Planet

To find out, we need "ground truth"... sensitive instruments, down on the surface... and that's where the MER rovers come in. To the right are images of the two landing sites selected for the MER mission.

To find out more about Mars, and the context in which the rovers will operate, check out The Red Planet. (Also please note that if you WANT TO LEARN MORE? you'll find a collection of links under each overview page.)
