Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun. Mars is 15 times farther from the Sun than the Earth. Mars is 55 million km from the Earth. Mars is 127,000,000 miles from the Sun. Mars is three planets away from the sun.

Mars is a red planet. Mars has greenish grayish lines. Mars has two volcanoes. Mars is little if you see it from Earth. Mars has no rings.

The rotation of Mars is 37 minutes longer than the Earth's rotation. Mars is smaller than Earth. Mars is next to the Asteroid Belt. Mars is an inner planet, and is the farthest inner planet from the Sun. Mars is named after the Roman god of war, Olympus. Mons is an enormous volcano on Mars.
