Subject: Dry Forest Exploration
When we arrived at Santa Rosa National Park, I could’ve sworn that we were back in New Jersey. From a distance, the trees looked the same as back home. But as we got closer, we saw all the vines and different types of trees, and monkeys in them! We drove the bus down the trail as far as we could before we got out to hike down to the ocean. We walked for about an hour and a half before we finally got there. We were all so hot and tired, it was nice to stop at the beach for a while. We climbed on the rocks that were down the shore. The view was great! After that, we walked back to where the bus was. On the bus, we saw we were all covered in sand, but it was still a lot of fun.
