Digging Deep under the Ice

NSF's three main themes for IPY are (1) changes in ice sheets, north and south (2) study of biological adaptations to life in the cold and the dark, especially at the genomic level (but we think they still like folks to know more about marine mammals such as seals, and "ice birds" such as penguins; and (3) changes in the Arctic. Our podcasts will bring you slices of research and life exploring these themes, but here are links to research reports, articles, TV news reports and documentaries, and press releases relating to these topics, and more.
