This VIDEO Just In! The first video clip from the North Pole Environmental Observatory has just been received. Videographer Brian Igelman hopes to fulfill one of his life's ambitions - taping video stories at and around the exact geographic North Pole, to match his "bagging" of the South Pole back in 1994-1995, and spending time at Palmer Station, Antarctica, in 1997-1998. He'll be on location with the staff of the North Pole Environmental Laboratory (NPEO), funded by NSF and with participation by NOAA, NASA and Japan's marine science institution, JAMSTEC. |
