ASTC 2007 (National Conference - registered participants ONLY) October 14, 2007 - Los Angeles, California POLAR-PALOOZA will be premiering a special edition of the "Stories from a Changing Planet" presentation at the ASTC 2007 Banquet, in the evening of Saturday October 13th. Several of our Travelers will be on hand, together with HDTV clips, soundscapes, props and more. In line with the themes of this year's ASTC National Conference, it'll be "Lights, Camera, Action!" from the Poles direct to Los Angeles. PPZA hopes this will raise the visibility of our online resources, such as the HDvCC footage and podcasts, which can be used on plasma screens and HD displays in any science center or natural history museum (in America and around the world), even those not on the "Stories from a Changing Planet" national tour. Some of the Travelers, plus museum and science center hosts for the Fall 2007 tour, will lead a panel discussion on POLAR-PALOOZA and public interest in IPY and climate on Sunday October 14th, from 10:45-12:00 noon.
