How To Obtain Viking Images and CD-ROMs
All Viking CR-ROMs, the MDIMs and the raw images can be obtained from the National Space Science Data Center (NSSDC). You may order by sending a fax to 301-286-1635 (please include your name and fax #), by sending email to request@nssdca.gsfc.nasa.gov, o
r by calling 301-288-6695. For more information on the contents and
prices of CD-ROMS, see the NSSDC web pages for the Viking Orbiter MDIMs or the Viking Orbiter Raw Images.
You can download raw Viking images and MDIMs from the Internet. Visit the
Planetary Data System Imaging Node. You can also find a list of
on-line CD-ROMs here. You will need to experiment to find the best method of downloading the images (or "Experiment Data Records").
