Introduction to Image Processing Lessons are
activities that let students manipulate real planet images,
replicating the actions of professional astronomers.

provide a bunch of riddles about Mars and our missions there.
- Mystery on Mars engages
kids with an entertaining story in comic-strip form; more than just
fun, though, the Derby teaches students how to effectively search the
Web.
- Where in the World are
these PET Mystery Sites? The goal of this contest was to determine
the location of Mystery spots based on planetary data input.
- The Planet Explorer
Toolkit is a collaborative activity that took place during
the '96-'97 school year.
Students debated to decide on a standardized instrument kit
for sampling their local terrain. Once reaching consensus, students
used the agreed-upon tools to gather
samples, make measurements and share their data with each other.
