The Antartcic Development Squadron "The Ice Pirates" is the world's southernmost airline. Part of Operation Deep Freeze, Antarctic Development Squadron Six (VXE-6) is the United States Navy's support team for scientific programs of the National Science Foundation. They operate LC-130 (Hercules) and HH-1N (Hueys).
