Visual materials available for purchase

Antarctic slides, photographs, and videos held by the National Science Foundation -- which funds and manages the U.S. Antarctic Program -- show research at U.S. and non-U.S. stations and camps, station life, support activities, vehicles, aircraft, and shi ps. Natural scenes, vegetation, and wildlife also are pictured. The collection comprises:

--over 14,000 color slides --over 8,000 black & white photographs, contact proofs, and negatives --over 100 videotapes with both raw footage and finished film

Color slides: $15 for up to three slides. $3 for each additional slide.

Black & white photographs (8 x 10 inch): $15 each

Color photographs (8 x 10 inch): $20 each

Videos: duplication costs vary
