Dr.
Trapp has been at NSSL since 1994. Currently, he is a Visiting Scientist
at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, CO. He obtained
his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in
1985, his M.S. from Texas A & M in 1989, and his Ph.D. from the University
of Oklahoma in 1994. He has prior field experience with the Verification
of the Origins of Rotation in Tornadoes Experiment (VORTEX) in 1994
and 1995. He has performed research on the dynamics of tornadoes, analysis
of radar data, and the small-scale structure of winter weather systems.
