FROM THE STORM
APRIL 11, 2000
PTV stations may air the program an unlimited number of times within one year from the date of original carriage.
Schools may tape off air and use without restriction in class for educational purposes for one year.
While the March 7 program was entirely pre-taped and serves as a video introduction to the interactive project, April 11 was fed live from NOAA's Storm Prediction Center in Norman, OK, home to NOAA's tornado chasers. While we urged all stations to carry the March 7 program either live or on tape, the April 11 program was an exciting event that will have even greater impact if carried live nationally.
Additional information about the entire project, including the availability of an original 64-page Teacher's Guide, worksheets and a Multiple Media kit to support the programs, and the project's full-featured CONTINUING CONSTRUCTION website may be found at: http://passporttoknowledge.com/storm
