Lawrence Hall of Science October 26-28, 2007 - Berkeley, California POLAR-PALOOZA San Francisco will be a co-production of the Chabot Space and Science Center (Oakland) and the Lawrence Hall of Science (Berkeley.) In addition to high-energy PPZA public presentations at both institutions, and a Bay Area-wide workshop for K-12 educators, Lawrence plans special sessions for female students and Girl Scouts, as well as museum trustees. Chabot is exploring ways to involve their teenage docents, so that PPZA activities and anecdotes can be integrated into ongoing interaction with students and the public throughout both IPY years. Check back in April for specific dates and times! |
