The KAO Work Area

This area includes the Aft Seating, Aft Galley, and the Electronics Rack .

The KAO Work Area is the section of the plane designated for tag-along experiments, or experiments which require a high-altitude platform, but do not necessarily relate to the astronomical observations being conducted.

The KAO Work Area is also where the ACTS Satellite system operates onboard the KAO. This satellite connection will enable the KAO to remain online while it is in flight.
