What kind of computer electronics are on the KAO?

Well, we have quite a mix of systems on board.  We use Sun Sparcstations
for recording houskeeping data (all the normal operating prameters of the
various control systems, and aircraft parameters such as ground speed and
altitude), and for controlling some subsystems.  But we also have some
very old computer systems in use.  One uses a paper tape reader as a
backup storage device (that's 1960's technology!).  Also, the Scientists 
often bring their own PC's or Macs to store their data.
