QUESTION: How did what you learned in 6th grade help you on this expedition? ANSWER from Garth Hull on November 1, 1995: It is difficult for me to recall specific events in the sixth grade which are linking to the expedition. I do know that my teacher instilled in me a love for reading and an interest in the heavens which led me thru high school and college to learn as much as I could about astronomy. Thanks, Garth ANOTHER RESPONSE (SOURCE UNKNOWN) WAS: The things you learn in sixth grade stay with your entire life. The sixth grade is a very important educational stage because you should have the basics of learning. Now you get to go out and use the tools of reading and arithmetic and reasoning to discover all the wonders the world has to offer. The introduction to scientific thinking, why are there stars, why airplanes fly, how telescopes work. These are just a few questions that have to do with the KAO but there are millions of questions still to be answered.
