QUESTION:
What will happen to the Kuiper after it retires from NASA as an airborne
observatory.  Will it be used for another purpose?

ANSWER from Randy Lau and Wendy Horton on October 24, 1995:
Just got a message from Wendy Horton with the FOSTER program.  She tells
me that the only official news is that it is scheduled to stay at Ames
Research Center for the next two years with no flying.  There may be
people looking for monies to fund a few flights a year and maintain a
staff but this is all speculation and rumours.
