QUESTION:
What was your favorite book in sixth grade?

ANSWER from April Whitton October 22, 1995:
In sixth grade, our teacher's name was Mrs. Gould, and she read to us 
after lunch. One of my favorite stories was The Secret Garden. I grew up 
on a farm, and loved the idea of a special walled-in garden with roses 
everywhere and lilies with spotted throats (I thought they were day 
lilies).

When The Secret Garden movie came out recently, I took my own daughter to 
see it. It was different from the book, but we both liked it - especially 
the story from India about the prince fighting the demon!
