QUESTION:  
Has the KAO ever been damaged?

ANSWER from Terry Rager on October 16, 1995:
Fortunately the Kuiper has been fairly free of damage. The only things that
Bill Hoss the flight engineer and I can think of are a few bird strikes where
birds flew into the airplane, and we we had an engine seize on take off one
time so we had to replace that engine.
