We were discussing Roche limits in astronomy class and one student raised the
question- does the sun have a Roche limit?  Assuming it does- could there be a
ring of material closer to the sun than Mercury in a manner similar to the
rings of Uranus or Neptune?  If there is a ring, other than the plane of the
planets and assorted debris, where would a satellite have to be located to see it?
