Editorial

An activity to improve your students' communication skills.  Sometimes, a
student might give their opinion on a topic, but when you ask them why, they
say "I don't know".  This activity gets them started into supporting their
reasons.

Get your students to write an editorial about why should there be missions
to Mars? (or for the very hot topic of Cassini with the plutonium)

Write an intro to state the issue and your stand.
Write a few paragraphs of your reasoning supporting the stand.
End the editorial with a closing paragraph.
