Hi Mars folks!

Our new, revised, way-cool Mars Global Surveyor TES home pages
are now on line.

Two of our hot Ph.D. students, Vicky Hamilton and Steve Ruff, have done
a fabulous job with these. They plan to do regular updates once we
get TES data-- we expect the first data late on Sept. 13th.

You can check out the new pages *now* and come up to speed on TES
and what it is going to do. You can also check out the revisions to
our Arizona Mars K-12 pages.

NASA has a press conference on Sept. 9th (I don't know what time) about
MGS. Be prepared for some neat stuff-- the first MOC and TES observations
of Mars were made last month and will be presented at the press conference.A
Also be prepared for some other intriguing news, plus a run-down on what
to expect during Mars Orbit Insertion (MOI) on Sept. 11th.

I am looking forward to web-chatting with some of you and your students
on September 12th. Take care!
