Hello folks, Have you ever wanted to work for NASA? Here is your big chance. NASA will be hiring a part-time, temporary teacher. We anticipate it is something which could be done in off hours....what off hours most are saying. Anyway, the glory (NASA on resume) and cash may make it worthwhile. Here's what is involved. NASA is launching a spacecraft called Lunar Prospector to the moon in late November. We want to make a fat outrech splash. We are looking to hire a middle school science teacher to preview material, give opinions about good activities and web sites, etc. Basically a teacher to give the spaceheads at NASA some K-12 credibility. It would be a parttime paid job for the next few months. If you are interested, please send your resume to me (Marc Siegel) by FAX: 650/604-1913 by snailmail: NASA Ames Research Ctr, Mailstop T-28H, Moffett Field, CA 94035 If you want to discuss ths position on the tele, please call 650/604-1518. Please don't email your resume to the whole list; that would be considered BAD netiquette. Indicate how many hours you would like to work per week and when you could start. I will not be the hiring manager but I will pass on whatever comes my way. Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming. Yours, Marc
