Dear Educators and Students,

I would like to share Japanese moon viewing party with you.

In autumn, the air is clear and the moon looks especially beautiful,
so it is enjoy viewing of bright moon.
We offer "tukimi dango"(moon viewing dumplings), newly harvested crops
to the moon. Japanese pampas grass is added for decoration.

We say "tukimi". "tuki" is moon in Japanese. "mi" is viewing. "Tukimi"
is a prayer for a good harvest.

I show you "tukimi" in kanji character.

                             tuki mi
