Just returned from seeing Contact. I had read the wonderful and moving book and was expecting to see the usual Hollywood treatment. Mark me wrong. The movie was so wonderful and more moving then the book. I found tears in my eyes several times and the graphics were overwhelming beautiful. Science was dignified by this movie. Please go and see it. While Ellie is seeing the wonders of space she says, "They should have sent a poet". Truly a classic. Acting is excellent. What a treat.
