A friend of mine in southern California sent me this
clipping from the Los Angeles Times... perhaps you
might want to write an essay-- perhaps they would
publish it... it is not clear what the prize is, other
than possible publication. Hurry, deadline is
August 15th.

that it's time to colonize Mars and they're looking

I have no idea if they will accept submissions
from outside southern California, but why not
