It was quite theshock to hear of the loss of such a great scientist.  I
remember around the time of the impacts the press conferences that he was at
and the joy that he had to finally have proof of what he had been claiming
for years.  He showed us for years the sites of past impacts but here was one
live.  It really made an impact on the public that they are still feeling.
My heartfelt simpathy to his family and all others that share the loss.
