For over a year I have been using the AMBIT site to access live cams at NASA and Marshall. They have just added a great Mars site with information, pictures and links. I think it is a great starting point for the classroom with the large type and high interest. http://www.ambitweb.com/pf/pf.html As I have mentioned before, I have one computer in my classroom and it has an internet connection. With that I use a device called PV/TV to link to a large screen TV on a high cart as a second monitor. All of the students get a good view of whatever I have up when they enter and can keep an eye on whatever surfing we do during class. Also great for a PowerPoint or Hyperstudio presentation.
