Dear Mars Educators-- More on the Mars "Hot Wheels"--- Cathy Davis, who works with Cheick Diarra at JPL, says there is no Mars Global Surveyor Hot Wheels.... "It's only Pathfinder and it's really cool!!! There is three parts to it, the rover, the lander and the spacecraft. They are out in some of the toy stores but not all of them. I am sure the kids will have no problem getting them one they are distributed to all of the stores." She seems to think they won't be as hard to get as I was told... I suppose it depends upon how many of them get shipped to your local toy store. Keep your eyes peeled. I'd love to hear reports that people are finding that there are hundreds of these in the stores!
