Dear discuss-lfm members, April 28th (today) marked the first day of registration for the "Where in the World Are These P.E.T. Mystery Sites?" Activity. Already 707 3rd through 12th grade students are registered and will be using their problem solving skilss to identify the five MYSTERY SITES. Keep in mind that there are three levels of difficulty -- one for each grade level range (Elementary, Middle, and High School). The full Mystery Site Activity overview is available online at: http://quest.arc.nasa.gov/mars/events/pdi/mystery.html Upon registration [send name of sponsoring educator, name and locations of school/homeschool and full mailing address, #, age and grade of students, and your email address to jwee@mail.arc.nasa.gov] classes receive their unique ANSWER FORM. Elementary and middle school classes receive a MULTIPLE CHOICE type answer form indicating the possible MYSTERY SITE latitude/longitude coordinates. High School classes receive a "range within which the Mystery Sites are located". We hope this fun and challenging activity will be one that is appealing to *ALL classes* regardless of their past participation in the Planet Explorer Toolkit! Jan Wee, moderator
