A P.S. on the "RED PLANET CONNECTION" message I just mailed--

I meant to tell you that the two people presenting the RED PLANET 
CONNECTION session at NSTA next week, Tricia Dieck and Jennifer 
Roberts, are the 1996-97 and 1997-98 editors, respectively, of
these newsletters.  The project was the brainchild of Tricia Dieck, 
and a study of how the newsletter affects students' interest in
science has been the subject of her Masters thesis (about to be 
defended).  Both Tricia and Jennifer are K-8 classroom teachers
who came to ASU to pursue advanced degrees.  Both are excellent
instructors and very knowledgable about the Mars theme, and you
will enjoy their session.
