Dear discuss-lfm members,

Off the subject of Mars but may be of interest to many of you...

Just wanted to pass along this email address for any of members
in this group that are educators interested in attending the
NASA Educational Workshops for Elementary School Teachers (NEWEST)
or the NASA Educational Workshops for Mathematics, Science and 
Technology Teachers (NEWMAST) this summer.  Applications must be
received by February 20th, 1997. 
 
        Benefits:  Two-week expense paid workshop at one of the NASA Centers
                   Personally experience NASA's state of the art research and 
                        development
                   Update knowledge and develop newe interdisciplinary
                        and team-teaching strategies.

We have several PTK Advocates who have attended these workshops
and feel they are a wonderful experience.
