Congratulations!! Undoubtedly, it will remain in the memories of your students and attending parents and guests as one of those special school activities that *really* made a difference. These efforts require tremendous advance preparation and coordination but they are rewarding and a major accomplishment of which you can be proud. I am sure many of us on the list can relate to how you feel after all your hard work. Glad to hear that documenting this special event did occur and that you will share your pictures and video with the Passport to Knowledge Project Director, Geoff Haines-Stiles, and staff. We invite ALL who are actively implementing the LFM project to do the same. Many of you have already this done via digital images (using Quicktake and other digital cameras,), newspaper stories, audio and videotapes, etc. (Please be sure to visit Kid's Corner on our web site to see the many classroom activities and student work shared via this medium. ) Please send your videotape to our PTK office via this address: Passport to Knowledge P.O. Box 1502 Summit, NJ 07902-1502 When submitting such items, please include a description of the special event and all pertinent information regarding your class' involvement in the PTK projects and your contact information. (name, address, phone, fax, etc.) We would like to see more digital images and accompanying text descriptions/journals from other classrooms actively implementing this project. We encourage you to record LFM activies and share them with those who visit our Kid's Corner. This is a great way for your students to receive recognition for their efforts and to virtually "meet" their peers online. Send those images and text descriptions/journals to my attention and we will see to it that your class has their own special "photo-documentary" online!
