Subject: NIH Software

Is anyone going to do or already is doing anything with NIH software and
image processing in conjunction with Live from Mars. I sent Jan a very
primitive example of what can be done. It should be posted in the Kids
Corner soon. Also, for those of you who were at the D.C. meeting this
summer, I included a lesson in the packet on using NIH to measure Olympus
Mons. I'm going to do this lesson with my kids after winter vacation. I'll
get back to you on the results. NIH is a very valuable (and free) tool that
should be in every math/science/social studies teacher's arsenal. Let's
talk.

Charles,

How do you receive the free NIH software?
I would like to use it in my classroom, because it can be used on 368
computers.
