I posted a set of photos of Activity 2.2 finding the slope of volcanoes. If you have the patience to wait for the upload two of the photos towards the bottom shows my kids using the 8 bit camera and the results. The neat part about this activity was we went directly from taking the photo to measuring the angle using the NIH software. When the kids did their own crude measurements using the protractors the answers had a spread of ten to 15 degrees. Using the software the slope of all of the "Cinder Cones" was within 2.
