Sojourner Truth for whom the Sojourner Rover on Mars Pathfinder is named was a female. Donna Shirley (Mars Exploration Program Manager) has read and enjoyed the wonderful poems writtem by students to the holiday lyrics and reminded me of this --- use SHE not HE ! :-) If your students do not know who Sojourner Truth was it is time to head to your library or hop online and start seeking the TRUTH about Sojouner Truth! Thanks for sharing... Thanks to Marilyn Wall for sharing her special version of Activity 1.1 B and to Tim McCollum to alerting us to the mention of the Live From... projects as a Best of the Net in Internet World. We have also been having a great discussion about inquiry based learning... thanks to all who have contributed! That's it for now.
