Cherie, Great idea -- thanks for sharing your plans to integrate the LFM Biographies into your English I class. Your plans are exactly the type of activity that makes the Live From... projects interdisciplinary! We hope that students really get a sense of who these people are and a sense of the role they play in the Mars Missions. Not all of them are scientists and that is important to realize as well. It takes a very broad spectrum of expertise and skills to make the Mars Missions or any "big science" endeavor a reality. All team members play a crucial role and this is a good way for kids to see the diversity of such teams. Thanks again for your posting!
