Hi All,

I don't think the article is worth losing sleep over, certainly.  I do think
it is an interesting article for students to read.  It is another viewpoint,
albeit a rather uninformed one.  It opens up interesting discussion on
journalism, media, and what IS so important about Mars exploration.  Our
students can form their own opinions.  Some of my students actually agreed
with the author!  This is a real life person.  This is a person in
journalism!  It is another opportunity for students to begin to crystallize
their own opinions on the topic we are researching.  

My grade 6/7's really enjoyed reading the article, whether they agreed or
disagreed.  They had mounds of fun trying to create a letter that wasn't
libelous.
