One more last minute announcement for today -- Donna Shirley, Mars
Exploration Program Manager, will be a guest on the Good Morning
America Program on either November 29 or December 2. Donna
shared this with me last week and I wanted you to be aware
so you can tune in or set your VCR's to record this interview.

You will find Donna to be an intriguing person who is even
active in community theater! Donna skis in winter, backpacks
in the mountains in summer, plays guitar and takes acting lessons. And
we think we are busy!! :-) The PTK Advocate Teachers who attended
the July 18-21 Live From Mars Teacher Workshop had the opportunity to meet
and hear Donna. We know first hand that she is a strong supporter
of integrating real-world science in the classroom for ALL
grade levels.
The Mars Team journals and biographies are a great resource for
learning about the *real people* behind the Mars Missions!
