Fellow Electronic travelers, First concern right now is that there is a manned apace launch (STS-80) scheduled, after some delay, for the same time as our PTK broadcast. It has always been my understanding that NASA-TV pre-empts PTK broadcasts for live launch coverage. The web site says 1:53pm Central Time (why Central is used, I have no idea). That would miss our broadcast unless they show everything leading up to the launch. I am following STS-80 with my class, too, but with a workshop and 12 students relying on the PTK broadcast, I am holding my breath. I just REchecked the Russian Mars Probe page and found an extraordinary AVI of the launch. It is worth the long download. http://www.space.ru/images/start_sm.avi Laura(MI)
