Saw an announcement about Starman in the Science Scope magazine for
middle school teachers from NSTA. This is a downloadable comic which
you can use to supplement your materials.

Hi Janet,

Thanks for your note. I'd like very much if you would share my email
address and web URL with the members of your groups. If your groups
have newsletters, it'd be great if they would include Starman there as
well. The goal is to share the strips with as many people as possible,
I'd just like to retain control of the distribution as much as possble.
I want to keep track of who hits the site in order to protect my
copyright and collect data on my "subscribers." After all, I'm trying
to publish an astronomy comic book!

A small booklet of my work should available in spring, 1997. I want to
make sure I know who to offer the booklet to! I'd be grateful if you
could "spread the word" about Starman among your colleagues. Most
importantly, I hope your students learn something about the sky. I
dont know about you, but I'd rather see America's youth outside after
dark looking at stars than inside watching "Star Trek." [That's
pretty extreme--I think we can do both--jkc!]

drop me a line back and let me know what you think. thanks, jay
