If you didn't wade through the whole thing you probably missed the online conference on Live From Mars on Tuesday, October 22. Directions for connecting to TalkCity and #EduCenter are at the end of the newsletter. For those who deleted the newsletter without noting the conference, I am reposting only the "important parts". One project will land on the surface and deploy a roving vehicle for a 30-day exploration. The other mission will orbit Mars to map the planet and study its weather. In addition to a mission focus, Live From Mars will explore the science behind the missions, including what we hope to learn from Mars and how it relates to life on Earth.
