Please excuse me for forwarding this newsletter to LFM without an
explanation. If you didn't wade through the whole thing you probably
missed the online conference on Live From Mars on Tuesday, October 22.
Directions for connecting to TalkCity and #EduCenter are at the end of
the newsletter.

For those who deleted the newsletter without noting the conference, I am
reposting only the "important parts".

Gee, I surely would like to see some of the LFM list people on board
that night!!! Maybe Jan Wee will even pop in!

----------------------from the
Live From Mars Tuesday, October 22nd
In late 1996, NASA will initiate a new era of Mars exploration with the
launch of two separate missions to Mars.

One project will land on the surface and deploy a roving vehicle for a
30-day exploration. The other mission will orbit Mars to map the planet
and study its weather. In addition to a mission focus, Live From Mars
will explore the science behind the missions, including what we hope to
learn from Mars and how it relates to life on Earth. Join Michagan
Advocate, LauraEC, for discussion to give you all the details on this
incredible program!
