THE KIT made my day! My mother, who suffers from vascular dementia and is now living with me, was just departing for one of her many trips to"walk home", when we ran into the mailman -she did, I didn't. I let her open the package and she referred to it as "just teacher stuff". Teachers never loose their ability to recognize teacher stuff. We went inside and I convinced her to watch the video with me. We were both in a trance with the photography but she had no idea what that orange thing was. She lost it with the pathfinder segment. Then I had to explain why we were studying Mars and she conceded that it might be interesting. But look what the kit did-- it spared my walking behind my other as she runs away and she stayed at home! My dad died this week-end; I am not being goulish or disrespectful--one has to find humor in all of this. I do love the KIT.
