Dear discuss-lfm folks, I hope everyone will join me in celebrating with Marilyn Kennedy Wall, long time Passport to Knowledge participant and PTK Advocate from Bridgewater, Virginia. Last spring Marilyn won the Microsoft Teacher of the Year for Virginia and just yesterday was selected as one of eleven educators to be honored for exemplary use of the Internet in the classroom by Classroom Connect. A banquet in honor of the STARS Society is scheduled on November 8th at the upcoming Classroom Connect Conference in Anaheim, California. Marilyn is too humble to let this news out, but as her colleagues we all share in her celebration.
