This is really from Jan, but she had problems posting. Marc Date: Thu, 17 Oct 1996 07:51:26 -0500 From: Jan Wee <jwee@mail.arc.nasa.gov> To: marc@quest.arc.nasa.gov Subject: Your INPUT on Mars Navigator CD-ROM problems needed Dear PTK Advocates, You are in a unique position to help fix the "bugs" in the Mars Navigator CD-ROM that you received in Washington, DC in July. The final fixes are being made now as we speak and many of you are aware of SPECIFIC problems with this CD. I remember that some of you posted such comments as "the screen freezes upon calling up ....." etc. Kurt Gramoll of Engineered Multimedia who is the Principal of this project would greatly appreciate your input. He would like to know specific problems with details... for example, tell him what you were doing when the CD froze, give him details about your computer setup, etc. The Mars Navigator CD-ROM will be included in our LFM Multimedia Kit. For now the kits are shipping to customers with a note about this CD being sent in the near future when the final version is released. We have been including the CMEX Viking Anniversary CD with our current shipments. Kurt Gramoll's email address is kgramoll@engmm.com Please send your input directly to Dr. Gramoll and carbon copy Geoff Haines-Stiles at ghaines@quest.arc.nasa.gov Thanks in advance for any input you can give Dr. Gramoll! Jan PS This mail is coming from a temporary computer called quest1.arc.nasa.gov. We are using this computer during a transition to a new, faster Quest. Please reply back to my marc@quest account instead of this marc@quest1 account. Thanks
