Contact the Society of Automotive Engineers. They have a package (free)
titled "A World in Motion" designed to involve working engineers in your
classroom to facilitate the design, building and testing of several simple
machines.
Unfortunately I've lost their phone # but you should be able to uncover it
at any university .
