I have just received an opportunity to attend a reception/book signing in
October with Buzz Aldrin (!) for his new book Encounter with Tiber (science
fiction).  I just bought the book so I could intelligently converse and
noticed that one of the events in the novel is an expedition to Mars.  There
is also a mention in the Acknowledgments to "Chris McKay - for information
about Martian surfaces".  After I read it, I'll post a synopsis.
