A great younger student book is called A Trip To Mars by Ruth Young
Illustrated by Maryann Cocca-Leffler. ISBN 0-531-05892-1
Publisher:Orchard Books a division of Franklin Watts, Inc. 387 Park
Avenue South New York, N.Y. 10016 $14.95. Our K-2 graders loved it!
It's about a little girl who decides to go to Mars and talks about what
she needs to get there, and what to take. It has colorful pictures and
one page she talks about bringing your Space Teddy and a box of space
cookies. No one knows if there's life on Mars But just in case there is,
bring some extra cookies. The book ends with Fact on Mars written like a
young child's report with drawings. It's a great book!Renee, Michael, 3B
and Ted E.
