It's 9:37 pm. I did my star count through a thin overcast and came up with 96. The moon is VERY visible even through the thin clouds which supposedly exist only at the coast. The clouds really give it an eerie appearance. The 500mm might be too much lens for my camera, there's a huge amount of recoil from the mirror. Time to go out again. Hope all of you are doing well! Dress warm!
