Hi Everyone, I invited 100 fourth graders to participate in tonight's eclipse. We will do the star count with the "special equipment". We will also do the moon observations every 15 minutes and record our results. I am bringing in my telescope so we can view Saturn below the moon. So far the sky looks great form Poughkeepsie, NY at 4:30 p.m.. I will also do constellation work with my LED jacket that I can light to show specific constellations as I point to them in the night sky. I will report my star count later tonight.Best wishes for a clear sky for everyone! Jacques Chaput
